About me
Svet is a PhD economist, data scientist, and the founder of Causara Analytics, a marketing measurement technology company. He is one of the few data scientists to have worked on both Meta and Amazon experimentation teams. Svet led one of Meta's most mature experimentation orgs within Instagram’s Ads division, which had over 600 engineers and ran tens of thousands of A/B tests a year. At Amazon, Svet developed new methods for experiments with ‘spillovers’. Related to this was his work on fragmentation bias. His paper on the topic was chosen to be presented at the Amazon Machine Learning Conference out of 700 submissions. He writes on Substack and has guest lectured on topics such as experimentation in marketing at the UW Foster School of Business.
